Data Deletion Policy

This policy explains exactly what happens when you delete your AFTR PawTag account.

What gets deleted

  • Your account credentials and login information
  • Your dog's digital profile (name, photo, breed, age, medical info, links, contact info)
  • Your saved connections
  • Your activity and audit history
  • Any admin applications associated with your account

What happens to your AFTR PawTag

  • Your physical AFTR PawTag is NOT deleted
  • The tag identifier and public URL remain unchanged
  • The PawTag is reset to an Unclaimed state
  • The previous owner association is removed
  • The PawTag can be activated again by a new account
  • The physical tag remains fully functional and reusable

How to delete your account

  • Go to Dashboard → tap your avatar → select "Delete Account"
  • Type "delete" in the confirmation field
  • Tap Delete My Account
  • Your data is immediately removed and you are logged out

Data Retention After Deletion

Account deletion is immediate and permanent. We do not retain your personal data after deletion, except where required by applicable law (e.g., financial records). Anonymized or aggregated analytics data may be retained.
